“I was popular in school and just average,” Slone Ryder admitted. “I was the Homecoming Queen one year and I dated just one skirt chaser all through school. So, no one ever said everything except compliments. I was in the Miss Kentucky pageant one year and have been in other, smaller ones, likewise. To be honest, it wasn’t until I got into adult entertainment that I started hearing negative or hateful comments. One more angels will be jealous. We’re all at least a little competitive, but some girls just take it way also far. I have been doing it lengthy enough that I know how to handle it, and when I need to, I can put anybody in their place. That doesn’t happen very often, though. I don’t think I went over the top at all. I’ve always been kind of the darksome sheep of my family who wore the short skirts and taut tops and got a tattoo and body piercings. After that, others in my family got tattoos and piercings, too. But, when I did it, it was a scandal!”
